This historical building was designed as a car dealers, in a stylish 1920's sense, not an out of town motor market. Then it became a bank, and now, since 2003 it's been one of London's favourite cafe-restaurants. When one of Hollywood's biggest shots comes to town, he demands a table at this very establishment. Still, it has an air of unassuming warmth to it. Afternoon tea here is said to be the best in town.
